Brad Wharakura

Originally from New Zealand, Brad has been working in the fitness industry as a group fitness instructor for over 13 years. Currently based in Hong Kong working as Group Fitness Manager for Pure Fitness, Brad also travels the region training new and up and coming instructors, presenting at workshops and has been known to be somewhat of a “dancer” at shows from time to time.


Whether teaching one of his 8 regular classes during the week, or leading instructor development and training; Brad approaches every aspect of his work and life with enthusiasm, optimism and always with a sense of humour. His biggest motivators are helping others achieve results and seeing a shift in their overall outlook on training. A jokester at heart, Brad still understands the line between having fun and getting down to business – a line he effortlessly moves across.


Currently a master trainer for Les Mills RPM (indoor cycling), Brad also teaches other classes such as BODYATTACK and BODYPUMP as well as ViPR (integrated, weighted movement training), Self-Myofascial Release on the Rumble Roller and TRX (suspension training).
